Requests must be from legally established non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status which benefit animal rescue and care programs. Organizations may submit one request per calendar year.
Whiskers & Tails is unable to fund requests from churches or political organizations. It is possible, however, to assist special groups with items from our shop for a specified project. If you would like Whiskers & Tails to participate in one of your organization’s fundraising events, please submit your request letter well in advance.
The Whiskers & Tails Board of Directors reviews all written requests for approval. Requests must be made in writing and state precisely the purpose and goals of your organization, services provided, any specific needs, and the intended use of the funds. Please state if Whiskers & Tails has previously contributed to your organization.
Depending on the number of requests received, it could take up to three months for Whiskers & Tails to review a request and then, if approved, fund the request.
